The Lucky Pizzeria Legacy

Sigmund “Lucky” and Mary Sieklucki opened the first pizzeria in Kalamazoo in 1956.  It was located near the corner of N. Westnedge and W. Michigan Ave.    Serving take out pizza only, it was open daily from 6 pm -11pm.  It proved to be a popular establishment, leaving a permanent mark in Kalamazoo history.  

 

 

After long planning and building, Jim Sieklucki, realized his dream by re-establishing his parent’s restaurant.  Lucky’s was re-opened in October 2006 in Cooper Township.  Using the original dough recipe, Lucky’s prides itself in using the highest quality products with homemade recipes.
